Recently, my colleague at PCMS has been working on a suite of PowerShell commands for Lync 2010. Consisting of all facets of helpful configuration, the OCSGuy Quick GUI helps many I.T. personnel deploy Lync within their environment quickly.

Take a look at the full write up over at his site: http://ocsguy.com/2011/05/10/introducing-the-ocsguy_quickui/
I wrote a post for a colleague’s blog (http://www.ocsguy.com) about the Conversation Translator registry add-on for the Lync 2010 client. I had thought about re-posting it here, but since the post has done so well over at ocsguy, I’m deciding on leaving it there.
Please check out the “Conversation Translator” registry add-on here:

So, congratulations! You’ve made it to the first post of MostlyUC. I started this site as a way to bring my intriguing viewpoints to the world of unified communications.
A little about myself, my name is Adam. I live and work in Cincinnati, OH. I’ve been in I.T. for eleven years, but it seems like a lifetime on how I’ve been around it. I.T. is one of my passions and I enjoy not only the technology, but the culture affiliated with it.
I’m mostly interested in unified communications, dealing with products like Microsoft OCS, Lync, and Exchange. I hope that this blog is able to provide key information that will be helpful in your own UC environments, as well as information in and around UC technologies.
